What data is collected?

Data collected in our surveys includes but is not limited to: name, nationality (in some surveys), place of work (in some surveys) and any other data the survey respondent inputs. Unless you enter your name, contact details or apartment/room number (if staying in our residences), your responses are anonymous.

What is the purpose of this data collection?

The purpose of our surveys is to gather feedback on the services provided to you by us (Campus Living). We use the information gathered to monitor our performance, identify and address any issues, and to improve our future service. We may contact survey respondents directly in relation to their feedback for the purpose of improving our services/addressing any issues.

How is your data processed?

Our company uses the online survey system SurveyMonkey. Their Privacy Policy and Security Statement  disclose how SurveyMonkey handles respondent data on our behalf. Data is also processed directly by Campus Living for general statistical analysis.

How long will your data be stored?

The personal data you submit via our surveys will be held by us for 24 months and deleted thereafter.

However, should you wish to request that personal information collected about you is deleted before 24 months, you can do so by emailing gdpr@campusliving.ie

Statistical/aggregate data is held by us indefinitely.

Where is data stored?

Please see SurveyMonkey’s Security Statement. Data is also stored on Campus Living local servers and Microsoft OneDrive.

Who is data shared with?

Data may be shared with University of Galway, the parent of Atalia Student Residences DAC.
